VIN Fixer

How to use
- Paste what you have into the matching box and press its Convert button — the other two fill in automatically.
- The VIN is checked for length, invalid letters (I, O, Q) and the North American check digit.
- Hex accepts formats like 33, 0x33 or 33 43 36 ... on one or several lines.
BIN → HEX
Convert a binary ECM calibration file (.bin) into a standard Intel HEX file (.hex). Nothing is uploaded — the conversion happens in your browser.
How it works
- Choose or drop your .bin calibration file.
- Leave the start address at 0x00000000 unless your software needs a different one.
- Click Convert — the .hex downloads instantly with the same file name.
Output: standard Intel HEX with extended linear address records and per-line checksums. Works with files of any size.
VIN Decoder
Get year, make, model, engine, fuel, transmission, GVWR and plant from a 17-character VIN, using the free NHTSA government database.
How it works
- Paste the VIN from the door jamb, dash or title.
- Click Decode — we query the NHTSA vPIC database.
- If NHTSA can't be reached, a built-in decoder still shows model year, region and manufacturer.
